At least 3 factors - first two you mentioned (better ps technology and poorer quality).
Third one - we must acknowledge that we’re getting older. So 10 or 5 years ago, real SYTs were probably more enthusiastic in providing better service as we were younger, now the age gap increased, so they are less enthusiastic. So what to do? Try to take care of our look, dress and smell nicely etc. to overcome the disadvantage as much as possible. Or alternatively, show more money.

Try to check if they have videos, then again a lot of AI pictures and videos these days.
