Why spa will ask questions like

Ya normally I say I have been there a few times though it might just be my first time.
And rattle off a couple names I’ve seen from the site whom I’ve gone to in the past, that usually does the trick

these questions mean a lot. the ML will be able to gauge what sort of customers you are, profiling, and yeah, also see see if you are undercover or not, and also check your spending power. So that they know what type of GQ to pop

Hit the nail on the head regarding the spending power. A ML from a clean spa told me she never ask what the customer work as. All the other MLs from that spa never ask me that question too.

Here's a new question I encounter recently.. they will say that they are looking for a boyfriend and ask if I have anyone to introduce? Must be looking for new customers to kc..

I usually:
(1) Keep things friendly, positive vibes
(2) Be honest, not transparent (there is a difference between the two)
(3) don't use flowery language ('you look so pretty', 'if nobody marry you, i marry you lor')
(4) people generally like other people who allow them to talk about themselves. Give her the microphone and next time she will sing on your 'microphone'

Dealing with those gals your brain must be fast. Once my regular saw her name in my hand phone as ML Carol and asked what does ML means. Of course cannot say Massage Lady lah. Told her it means My Love, she was contented.

I wouldn’t call it sop la. Its just like any sales job sizing up the prospect.

My advice is to create a pseudo profile that you just stick to, so that you don’t need to have that awkward silence thinking what to say that may kill the mood.

Just pretend to be some average engineer, single, no car, don’t travel alot etc, staying far away so can excuse for less frequent visits. Also don’t let them think you are virgin greenhorn...

End goal is to portray you got no money to chop, but also not like super broke, to help her retain some interest in you

Why on earth need excuse for less frequent visits? I just say busy or to talk frankly, which they also know, hey, so many other massage shops out there with hardworking ladies and I get bored want to try smthg new That would get me a smack for saying the brutal truth, then the ML told me why you can't say you were busy? Say you were busy!

This keeps them on their toes too regarding service standards.

Say you read about a pretty spa girl who gives good service in this great SBF website. You got her name, Bee Bee, and the spa she works for from the threadstarter. You go to the spa.

The receptionist there asks you who are you looking for. You should give a girl's name that you know doesn't work there. Say, Ling Ling. Wait for her answer. If she answers no Ling Ling here, then you ask for Bee Bee.

If she told you Ling Ling is available, you ask who else are on duty. She'll rattle off the girls who are on duty. If she mentioned Bee Bee, you tell her you changed your mind and want to book her.

Because I was given two substitute girls in different health centres in the past and I didn't know it at that time! Luckily for me they both gave me good service which made up for it. It was only some time afterwards that I found out I was taken for a ride.
