thanks for sharing. i think the only way possible now is to take a bus from JB Larkin terminal to Bukit Kayu Hitam, then from Danok take a van to Hatyai

I think the easier option is to fly via Scoot from SIN to HDY directly.

Though air tickets prices are higher now due to higher fuel surcharges.

But it is still the fastest way to get to Hatyai.

For me I prefer flight over bus, save time and action start after touch down without the need of recovering from long road trip.

Agreed. I would do that too.

Faster and I think less hassle.

Plus, do not need to sit on the bus until your butt pain.

My last bus trip about 10 years ago was very bad. Got this group which made up 3/4 of the bus insist on taking the bus 6 plus at woodlands on a weekdays. The driver F all the way from GMC to HDY.
What the driver say, on normal trip if we leave GMC at 4.30pm and go by secondlink we should reach HDY around 7am. But no thanks to this group we reach taipeng around close to 10+ for a very rush dinner and reach HDY 11+ the following day.
After that trip I tell myself no point saving that 50-60 bucks to encounter this kind of selfish people again.

If u are a light sleeper like me... taking bus will be a pain in the ass. Spend another few $$$, take a plane.

Air tix pricing used to be between SGD$80 to SGD$130. Its about SGD$150 now. Not too bad.
