Hi bro. At south Jakarta I would recommend the nightlife to be at NuChina, because this club for some reason have local feels to it except, I mean the people there speaks their own language and it would be hard to find any English speaking girls but if you are heading there with friends, NuChina is the place to go. Alcohol wise the price same as Singapore, 1 bottle of Jack Daniel about 100SGD.
Shopping spot would be Grand Indonesia, at central Jakarta with so much food and shops, I would say it's much bigger than the biggest shopping centre in Singapore.

Basically, it is catered more to the Westerners but there are some gems at times.

Not all girls are WGs, some are there to have fun with their friends.

I have been going to Tematik for many many years and as far as I know Tematik has always been a fuck shop. That's why they have such pretty girls. There are some girls there who are good at massage and are for massage only, but you have to special request those girls and they are ugly. All of the pretty girls are there for sex. 20 years ago CJs had almost all Westerners. But I see more Indians, Arabs and Asians at CJs these days than I see Westerners. The price of the girls at CJs was cheap when it was just Westerners. But when Indians, Arabs and Asians started coming, the price of the girls went way up. Those guys seem to be idiots and like to overpay. It was way better when it was just Westerners.
