Re: All you need to know about HIV
i think the issue with HIV is more of the social stigma than anything else, even if the disease doesn't give you the death sentence, society will..

Re: All you need to know about HIV
It is not just social stigma that is most fearful about HIV .... the very fact that when you die, you are going to die from multiple infections and multiple cancers will means a very painful and agonizing death .... let's not forget that long term anti-viral drugs use to suppress the disease is also damaging to the body

Re: All you need to know about HIV
Three more places for anonymous HIV testing
http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/...r/1223804.html The Health Ministry announces three additional sites in Singapore that will conduct anonymous HIV tests from July 1. SINGAPORE: From July 1, three more places will offer anonymous HIV testing. Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) announced on Monday (June 30) that the new sites are: Doctors Clinic & Surgery (Woodlands) Kensington Family Clinic (Serangoon Garden Estate) Q&M Medical & Aesthetic Clinic (Tampines Central) This brings the total of sites offering such HIV testing to 10. The full list is available at the Health Promotion Board website. The anonymous HIV testing programme does not require people to leave their names, NRIC numbers or contact numbers, and was introduced to encourage early detection. Last year, two out of every five new cases already had late stage HIV infection when diagnosed. MOH also reports that the total number of anonymous HIV tests carried out in Singapore has grown from about 5,500 tests in 2005 to almost 14,000 tests in 2013. Name-based, but confidential HIV testing is also widely available at general practitioner clinics, polyclinics and hospitals in Singapore. More information can be found here.

Re: All you need to know about HIV
I recently visited a clinic for check out. I over heard a clinic staff tried to contact one of their patient who was tested positive for HIV to seek for medical treatment. Unfortunately the patient was uncontactable. I believe the patient must have hidden somewhere and avoid everybody after knowing his test result. I truely understand how he felt. I will probably do the same thing if my test is positive too. The clinic staff felt disappointed as they could not reach their patient and advice him. They wish they can convince the patient for early medical treatment. HIV positive is not end of the world. There are medication which can control the virus, improve immunity and let the patient live normally. HIV does not kill but AIDS yes. Early medication for hiv can control and prevent AIDS. So people can still live normally even with HIV. If you are that patient or anyone who are positive with HIV, do seek for helps immediately. There are law to protect you and make your medical records to be confidential to others including yr employer and etc. Just my humble sharing and advice sincerely to you and me.

Re: All you need to know about HIV
not likely to get HIV that way, more likely to get STD like herpes if lesions are present

Re: All you need to know about HIV
Bros
I chionged a euro escort a few days ago. She gave me a BBBJ after spraying some sterilizer or something. We proceeded to do 69. Later when it was time for sex, she was surprised that I wanted to use condom. She was actually okay for raw. Anyway we used condom to have intercourse. Now I'm feeling damn scared. She was actually okay with doing raw sia.. Am I right to say that I have a chance of getting HIV cos I performed cunninglingus on her? |

Re: All you need to know about HIV
mate.. not a wise thing for u to do...
from what i know. yes .. it is possible for HIV to spread via oral sex though the risk isnt as high as unprotect sexual intercourse.. the risk increases if menstrual blood is present.. Also note that in oral sex, the risk of contracting HIV is greater for the one giving oral sex than the one receiving it. you are also at risk of getting STDs e.g herpes via oral sex.. GO read on PEP and see if u want to go for it.. Quote:

Re: All you need to know about HIV
Just contacted her. She told me that she doesnt do raw almost all the time and made a rare exception for me cos I looked very clean - young and shaven etc. She has a daughter to raise back home in Europe so she plays it safe etc. She seems sincere so I'm hoping for the best.
To be fair she had condoms in her drawer and that was how we had protected sex. Anyway I went to hospital A&E just now to get some PEP. Gotta go somewhere else for an appointment on Monday for more PEP and check ups. Shit man. I just wanna quit this whole FL and ML shit already. Super scary experience right now. |
