hmm..wanted to, but think of it again, calling hookers in PRC is illegal, esp SH. just be more careful in SH, the place can be quite complicated at night. better to travel with 2, 3 guys.

donno how much leave i can take. intending to take ard 2 weeks leave in dec. bro, What's ur take on cheap hotel in guangzhou?I found this hotel, seemd quite cheap, 120RMB only..广州市 机场路 28号 but donno safe or not..near KTV also

hi bro ... hope u dun feel offended by what i am writing here ...
i dun like to travel on a tight or small budget especially when i am on holiday ..
when i cheong, i make sure i have enough or more than enough $ without any restriction or budget ...
i want to really enjoy myself ...
leaving in budget hotel is definately not what i want in a holiday trip ..
i am very fussy abt hotel room condition and safety ...
it can really spoilt my mood ...
but i hate spending too much on it too cos u spend more time out of the room ...
so an above average room will suit me best ...
i notice PRC hotels ... those above 3 or 4 stars are relatively good ...
normally price ranging from 300rmb onwards ..
but i was surprised to have stay in SwanLake Hotel in CP at 210rmb/nite ...
it's the best value for money hotel ...

Wah lau eh! We're on the same Wave length ler! I too don't like to restrict myself on a small budget when i cheong in China. I once took three gals at a time in CP's KTV only to decide to tapau one back.But i also won't stay in expensive five stars hotel lar. 3-4 stars ok liao in Cp /CA.

no problem bro, jus checking out on the net..ya..was figuring out if spend more time out of the room no point spending too much..
did u book online first or book when u arrived? cos if land at GZ, will usually stay at a hotel there first, then take train to CP rite? then will have to book a hotel at CP overnite as well..

my common schedule.Two days in Cp, two days in CA and one day inZH.Sometimes need to do shopping will spend one day in GZ. Take train from dongguan station to GZ east staion is a breeze.

Bro Edifier - yes, concur with the other bros...dont save on the rooms...not much diff in prices but have great security, etc that $$ cant buy....there's chain motels, Ru Jia or Kuai Jie that offers around rmb$220 for a std room with big bed n clean bedsheet (free internet)..there's a few around GZ "San Xia Jiu Pu Sin Jie"...that place also good as have alot of shoppings and restaurants.

Btw, same advice, no good dark places alone after sunset.

Actually it really depends...Still subject to individuals..For me..I prefer to go CP from HK/SZ...but it's also not much different from GZ to CP...I guess it's a matter of getting use to go to CP by which route...
