Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
You have no idea how Rafa thinks as a manager. He is going to keep playing Torres because there is Inter on the horizon - play the player on form. There was a league match earlier in the season where Torres missed 4-5 clear chances. What did Rafa do? He played him for 90 mins and Torres scored in the next match.

this time torres has made himself undroppable like stevie and carragher. if rafa really drops him and the game ends in draw or defeat, then he's in hot soup. for this reason, i also tink that torres wil play against newcastle and maybe substitute him early to preserve those precious legs.

Totally agree with Bro Monster....
The 1st was really a wonderful goal.....can consider some sort of classic goal.. For the 2nd and 3rd....it reall y show why he is worth every cents of that price tag....in fact it a steal to got him...... Hopefully he can keep the form going and bring us the CL cup.....

Ok, here are some guidelines I go by: - Source/site: NewsNow is no no. Ok for a bit of fun on a slow footie day or in the off-season but three quarters of the articles are trash. Some of them are fan posts in fact that have been written in five minutes. - Language/quality of writing. But truthfully, the quality of writing on Internet soccer sites has really gone down the drain - typos everywhere even on the official site and soccernet. - Quotes/source of news. A source close to the player said that Stevie is going to Real? Would that be his cat? Always check the source. Look for a quote, a direct quote. If no quote (such as the one you posted about Stevie), it's a rumour from a tabloid invented by the arse-lazy journalist!! - And if there is a quote, wait to see if the person quoted protests his innocence. E.g. Crouch allegedly said, 'I am pissed off with Rafa for laughing at my lanky feet'. Next day, Crouch says, 'I never said that, although I have lanky feet'. Or 'I was misquoted and I'm going to sue the paper, my feet are really tiny'. - Context. Is Scum playing us soon? Why is one of our players linked with them? The media plays up these stuff on the eve of big games. Look at the games that are coming up. - Context II. History repeats itself. We were previously linked with Alves. He never came. If it sounds like he's not happy at his club now or his club is playing badly (e.g. out of contention for Champions League footie), link him with us again. And also five other clubs for good measure. - Context III. One of our strikers isn't playing well or is unhappy. Link a former striker formerly linked with us again. We call it, old wine in new bottles. - Context IV. Newspaper in the red or having a slow day in terms of real news. Come on, let's raise some trash shall we? - Context V. Defoe wants to leave Spurs but Pompey unwilling to meet the transfer fee. Spurs are desperate to offload the misfiring fella. So? Link him with five other clubs 'said to be interested', including Liverpool, who must be on the lookout for strikers all the time since no one can score there! Ok, I had fun |

When i came across the news regarding Stevie G saga..infact before i cut and paste,i've actually do a seach in 2 of the uk betting site..and it happend that WH is giving out the odd of 5/3...which means for every 1pounds u bet should he leave Liverpool at the end season u win only 0.66 pounds..alot?? so do u think i got the reason to be alarm??And next week,i will check again and see hows the odds goes, cos currently the odds is on the us presidential election...Just for ur info, for every high profile transfer, move, sack in europe football the winning odds will not be more than 4/2..eg the likes of Beckham, owen,Mcclaren, recently capello..and here i like to single out that the odds for the sacking of the special one..hehe..WH already stop receiving bet before the begaining of this season..finally..he kena..ironically i get this trash news from a trash website... After i've explain the reason why i decided to paste this "trash",here's my question to u 1)Do u know which website i obtain this source? 2)U expect every single bros here as expert as u??Wat about those new fans?ru trying to tell them that dont anyhow post or paste trash here even they are sincer,it will remain nothing but trash without ur approval...if not just expect nasty remarks from u?? 3)Care to list us the website and sports writer that u consider "reliable source"??other than the official website?? 4)Here come the most important part Since the articles that i post u already called it as trash..meaning in ur expert view u totally write off the possibility that SG will leave Anfield come the end of the season..100%rite??Ok fine..so in another words for those bros that into online betting....just put ur bet against it if there is any..bet fast and hammer hard cos they are betting against trash..sure win one..just wait to collect money only wat..so easy.. for this,i will keep update the odds if there is any.. So bros rahl,i expect ur answer real soon.. To bros that not into betting, just skip it..sorry for that IMHO,i got the reason to belived the possibility that SG will move on,but i will not say he will leave Liverpool for sure come the end of the season..cos nothing is for sure..if out of goodwill bros here come out with any articles or post,i welcome u with open arms..if i know the topic,i will join in,if i dont know,i will be more than willing to be ur student..as u all can see im now the student of brother rahl... Ok as usual wat i've promise..i will share with u guys wat ever info that i know and it wont take me Xhrs to do so..today lets see the latest update on the odd in WH..just take it as a reference cos we hardly find this in our local papers.. The next manager to leave the club.. 1)Rafa Benitez 2.75 (odds go up abit) 2)Kevin Keegan 3.25 3)Steve Coppell 5.5 18)Sir Alex 67 19)Eriksson 67 20)Arsene Wenger 101

Bro SKILLFULL LICK, not trying to defend bro rahl here, but giving my views.
Yes, Gerrard has a probability of leaving Liverpool as he almost did so before, but the problem is that the article you posted speak of Carragher leaving too. Second, when I asked about the source, you mentioned that it was from "The Sunday Mail". I would like to think that a proper newspaper would not have a heading with "?!?!?" as seen from "Gerrard and Carragher set for Liverpool exit?!?!?". Finally, I used the heading and did a quick search on Google. The article can only be found on the following site: Talking Soccer - Talking Sense: Gerrard and Carragher set for Liverpool exit?!?!?. A blog site, enough said about its credibility. I also did a quick search on "The Sunday Mail" and the news site focuses on Scottish news with no sign of the mentioned article or rumours/news of Gerrard or Carragher leaving.

It's not a question of whether Stevie will leave or not eventually. It's a matter of the source. I was not being nasty. Just firm. If you feel I'm being intolerable that's your call. But if a new fan comes in here and posts trash, and I tell him otherwise, shouldn't he feel that this is at least an opportunity to learn more about footie? There is something wrong with the attitude if he takes it as a personal affront. PS. I never said I'm an expert on Pool. But reading sources is my work and anyone can pick it up after a while if they are willing to. The media circus is not very bright and very transparent in what they do. |
