Re: Toffee Chatroom - Everton FC
Was away for the past few days but toffees should nail the game against fulham. There is no major casualty in the 1st team and we should see a comfortable win for the toffees tonight.

Re: Toffee Chatroom - Everton FC
excerpts from football365
Everton But for Mark Clattenburg losing his senses in the Merseyside derby, Everton would be undefeated since the first week of October and level on league points with their city rivals. Constantly disparaged as Liverpool's poorer cousins, Everton are in a rich vein of form - and the richest of David Moyes' five-year reign. Unbeaten in ten matches in three different competitions, they have also treated the Goodison faithful to 13 goals in their last three home league fixtures. A decent side with a sprinkling of outstanding players, they have earned the right to be taken seriously. With development comes an increased workload. Due to their Carling Cup and UEFA Cup commitments, the Toffees will play nine matches between December 1 and New Year's Day. Yet their squad isn't as small as the doom-mongers might suggest - Phil Jagielka, Andrew Johnson, James McFadden and Victor Anichebe were the four outfield players on their bench this weekend. Yakubu One of those players who would only be properly appreciated by the Premiership public if he was English. Still, Yakubu's record of being the league's top scorer over the last four seasons with the exception of Thierry Henry speaks for itself. |

Re: Toffee Chatroom - Everton FC
Yakubu sends Everton into the semis
West Ham United 1 - 2 Everton Yet another devastating late show secured Everton's passage to their first cup semi-final appearance in 12 years as Yakubu scored with just 90 seconds left of regulation time to seal a superb comeback at Upton Park. After an even start, West Ham took the lead when Carlton Cole beat the offside trap and slid the ball under Tim Howard to make it 1-0. But the Blues rallied after the half-hour mark and were rewarded when Leon Osman side-footed beautifully past Robert Green to level the tie. Everton were better overall in the second half but extra time was beckoning ominously when Yakubu capitalised on a mix-up between Danny Gabbidon and 'keeper Robert Green to prod home and win the tie at the death. Unbeaten now in 11, Everton's wonderful run of form rolls on! YAKUBU AGAIN! woo hoo!!!!!!! |
