It is a single entry tat valid for 30 days start fr the date the day enter china. For example like myself i gg on 8 to 13 july i will try to apply the visa on 9 june onwards cos i t valid only for 30days tat mean i muz enter china b4 9 july then i can stay in china until 8 Aug.

i will be going to shanghai from 1st to 6th jul ...
and again to CP/ZH from 17th jul ....

this mean i have to apply for the visa twice ...

You have only a single entry visa. Once u leave china, considered used liao.

Any bro had recently applied for Visa? I applied in May and I got single entry valid for 60 days stay. Not sure when I apply again in July, will they give 60 days again?

according to the chinese embassy website ...
they will only issue 30 days visa till further notice ...

According to the New rules on the China visa here :

Requirements for Visa Application(updated)

They can issue Visa for single or double entry.

For your case in july... If after yr Sh trip u ll get out of China then back again on the 17th July. U can request for a Double entry visa.

However, U should also take note that U must apply for the visa after 17 jun so that yr Visa is still valid when U try to get in on the 17 of July.

The date of the Visa application is important in yr case.

that's was my intention to apply for the visa after i'm back from my coming ZH/CP/CA trip ...

this visa thingy seems to be quite truoblesome ...
hope they will go back to normal after the olypmic game ...

Normally the single entry valid for 60 days cost 25 but now cos of the olypmic it valid only for 30 days
