I don’t pretend to be an expert but that’s what I’d say. My “bargaining” usually goes like this:
They offer a price (300-400)
I politely say that it’s a bit too pricey for me and thank them for their reply
They ask me what I’m willing to pay
I offer 150
If they accept, I ask them if I can bring them anything. If they hesitate, I say I’m willing to go to 200 because they look so pretty (or because I’ve heard good things about them etc)

Things I have brought before:
More condoms/lube
Red wine ($26 from Cold Storage)
Sandwiches and other snacks (<$15)
