Good recommendations bro sohbuckkong!

Usually you use Riel or USD in your payments such as hotel, restaurant, transport, WL, etc.
Local currency more favourable or not much difference?

Can you pay in dollars in Cambodia?

No worries about changing money — the US dollar is Cambodia's unofficial second currency. The official currency in Cambodia, the Cambodian riel, trades at around 4,000 riel to the US dollar. ... Unlike in many countries, if you pay in US dollars the exchange rate you will get is quite fair. Jan 9, 2018

What currency is best to use in Cambodia?

The Cambodian currency is the Riel but US dollars are widely accepted and exchanged. This is in no way `black market´ or unofficial; the Cambodia Tourist Visa payment must be made in US dollars and cannot be settled in Riel. Thai Baht are accepted at border crossings with Thailand.
