True with a salary of <$2k in your mid thirties is low, and it is probably harder to date an average SG girl who should be earning >$3k at that age, but its not impossible
To be brutally honest, you can definitely find a job that pays more that $1.8k, just a matter of how bad you want to improve your financial situation. Hawkers don't mind pay more than $2k for helpers, many sales jobs don't need your qualifications, etc.
So help yourself first before thinking SG girls despise you
