daytime fun

Can I ask for advise of the more experienced guys - what is your experience with geylang during the daytime? I have plenty of time from morning till afternoon... is there any action or is it all dead?

Also what is really the perceived difference between the Chinese, Malay and Thai streets? Any "keywords" that may apply to a certain group more than other? Sorry to ask like this, but this forum is a mess for newbies
